Where to begin...
The experience starts when you follow my booking link and make your first appointment! After you book your appointment, I'll double check that the date, time, and service makes the most sense for your hair needs, and we will make it a date!
All service packages include enough time to make all of the magic happen. If you feel you need more details on booking or the services I offer, you are welcome to schedule an in-person consultation.
You can also expect a confirmation text and email 72 hours before your appointment and a reminder 24 hours before. If you need to make any changes to your appointment, you can feel free to do so online up to 48 hours before your appointment. The week of your appointment, I will reach out with additional information about getting to the salon and salon procedures.
Arriving at the salon
The day of your appointment you will pull up to the cutest little salon this side of The Woodlands. We've got tons of free street parking, and you'll know you have the right spot when you see the big "Sola Salons" sign out front. I ask that you plan to arrive early so you have plenty of time to acquaint yourself with your new salon home. I will welcome you at the front door and show you to my chair!
You can relax in my suite knowing that I thoroughly clean and disinfect between each guest, so the space is ready for you to settle in and make yourself at home. I schedule my guests one at a time so you will have my undivided attention.
Once you make your way to Studio 2, we will sit down for a 15 minute consultation. Here we will discuss not only the details of your first visit, but find a plan that will compliment your hair history, goals and lifestyle.
We'll talk about your hair dreams and worst nightmares, and take a look at some inspiration photos so I can get a clear idea of the things you love and don't love. After I have a clear vision of our goal, I'll walk you through what's obtainable, our game plan for today and future services, the level of maintenance involved in the look you desire, and how to style and care for your new look at home.
Don't worry about washing your hair before you come in, I don't mind a little natural oil and plus, the shampoo is sometimes the best part! All color services utilize Kevin.Murphy color designed to be long lasting, enhance shine, and improve the health of your hair all while respecting your hair, health, and the environment. Your formula will be custom blended for you and recorded in my system so that it's always ready and waiting at each visit. I will work efficiently to respect your time, but I will never sacrifice the quality of my work by rushing on your hair.
I have Wi-Fi, sparkling water, delicious seasonal beverages, snacks, phone chargers, and more to keep you comfortable as your color processes. We can even trade playlists over my personal speaker or relax in the calm environment. Please feel free to bring a book, TV show, or work laptop with you. Your time in my chair is yours, so you never have to worry about how to spend your time with me!
We will finish our service by styling, and of course, the mini photoshoot. This is when we get some killer shots of your beautiful hair all styled and ready for a night out (or a Trader Joe's run)! I will recommend at-home styling care to recreate and maintain your look at home, and we will set you up for your next appointment.
